Today is the 1st of the month. Yay. Rent day. Always a headache. Good bye money. Why must I have to pay someone to live somewhere. When did this begin to happen for us that seek shelter. In what point of time in the history of man did seine decide, "let's charge rent!". I'm sure it wasn't in the form on monetary comenasation at that time. Perhaps it was the trophy remains of vanquished enemies. Perhaps it was a Davy Crocket style racoon tail hat but more in the form of a pair of camel hump ear muffs to travel across the cold gobo desert.

Roommate is supposed to move out today and a new one move in. However its nearly afternoon and the process has not yet started. Headache. Then, as they move in and out I have to worry about my feline company escaping or becoming stressed out on new scents and pissing all over everything. Headache.

Still an emptiness in my heart. Who knew that would be a headache? Girls used to throw themselves at me and then I'd throw them right off. I feel I've ruined every good chance at love. Headache. Mind is plagued with should've could've would'ves. I don't mind the chase or the feeling out process but it's such a headache to go through. Learning to understand someone else. Figuring out another persons qualities and short comings. Adapting to their personality. Headaches galore.

Job opportunities are within a fingertips grasp, however, online applications that crash 20 minutes through; headaches. Multiple interviewes for entry level under 10 dollars an hour jobs; headaches. Juggling two or even three occupations in your already busy schedule because god forbid anyone give you full time hours; headaches.

No Tylenol can cure these stress induced head pounding ailments. Only outcomes. Good or bad. At least you know what happens.

Life is still exciting for new possibilities and adventures. It's just the work getting there that gives you them headache bummers.

First off, why would I spend such a long period of time without updating my blog? It's livejournal all over again. It can be found at livejournal.com/users/xusherx if I am not mistaken.

Awoken from the worst sleep first by the cats escaping through the screen, to Reeks and Oprah waking me way early. Then, the AC repairman came through around 10:30am. Messed with my energy levels and thus didn't go to the gym. This caused me to have a depressive feeling and became lethargic. I fell asleep to text and fb chat conversations, one bringing to my attention the last space shuttle launch for the Discover Shuttle. I debated in my exhausted state to go out on the bike early and get a good spot... I opted out for sleep.

I awoke to a text I believe. Then saw Flicker planned on going out so just after I made plans to go, Gorgo stopped by with his Blur Heeler and said hello. Soon after I left for a long and unsuccessful trip to attempt a grand viewing of the launch. I didn't see anything as the clouds were in the way and we were stuck on the 528 next to a Russian couple in an escalade and two gas guzzling monstrosities of vehicles, one hauling a Beemer, and both hauling overweight rednecks that were pissing on their tires wait for the shuttle to scuttle on up to outer space.

Made it back to town, ate some Tijuana Flats compliments of a $25 gift card tip left by Jaron's white person look alike, and made it back home.

After my beard manicuring session and shower I rolled out on the Harley to the social for The Get Up Kids show. Ran in to many friends and had some great conversations. Hard to have many people to talk to because I swear I have social ADD. Normally however, we being Americans, we get bored with conversations with people in about 5 minutes so I was consistently saved by the next soon to be forgotten half way finished conversationalist.

TGUK got on. Messing up. Playing boring Brit pop synth songs to finally what I wanted to hear, "Don't Hate Me.". An explosion of excitement from my person leading to anarchist celebrations disregarding stage dive rules and respect for others. The guitar tech decided to be violent with Shawn Egan and I. 5 years ago, pow right in the kisser my fist would have said to his face. Instead, hands were clapping and smiles were wide. Head in stinky armpits and more anthematic hymns being sung.

Made my way to hoops. Another piss hole of underage, over-privileged, wanna be punk rocker "pacifists" who are too pussy to punch a true Nazi in the face and rather just whine about it. As long as beer is flowing and bad music is playing, these dudes and dudettes are fine with the rampant amounts of putrid body odors polluting the room. Sickened by the state of the current fake punk nation, I removed myself from that incestuous band project hell hole and got back on my ride. Headed to Pom Poms and had some fun conversations as well as the previous places I had ended up.

A day off from work, 29 years young, a playful spirit bogged down by loneliness and lowliness of my peers, and a sentimental band playing hits from my past makes for a concoction of emotional drive to go out and just be slightly a challenge. No family around me so I must make the best of my surroundings and accept how stupid the world is... I mean people accept me right?

Almost two months ago I broke my leg. I'll tell people it was either a
Porno Stunt mishap or because I called a bunch of Puerto Ricans,
Mexican. I come up with more and more stories, solely to help others
laugh at my misfortune. Perhaps it's me making light of my situation,
because even though being out of it to do most things I wish I could
do, like work to pay my bills, it's not as bad as a broken heart or an obsession
with a past lover/relationship.

With a broken bone, one doesn't get upset to the point of stalking an ex or worrying about seeing them in public. Fractures do not cause people to cry themselves to sleep every night... if they are lucky; lucky in the sense they aren't up all night in a state of depression. The only jealousy issues derived from broken bones is the thought of being able to function as a everyday Joe in society or on the athletic field.

I've been there before and I'll takes broken bone over a
broken heart any day. I'd rather have broken up sleep from dreams of running, swimming, and fighting than broken up sleep from a broken heart. I'd even rather be broke than heart broke. I'd rather be around a bunch of fat women who recently ate Mexican or
Korean Kim Chi and have broke wind than have a broke heart. I'd rather
break boards with Kung Fu than break hearts. Break me off a piece of
that sweet potato pie before you break off a piece of my heart. Break it down on the
dance floor rather than break my heart. I'd rather be broke down
on the highway in the Everglades in July on Alligator Alley in the
middle of the afternoon wearing a leather suit and nothing else to
drink than black coffee than have my heart broke.

Maybe that's why I'm single. Afraid of commitment only because of the
pain it can lead to. Some people say that it's better to be alone than
have your heart broken while others would argue that you never have
lived if you have never been in love. While both of these statements are
true, I'm stuck living in the middle limbo of love purgatory. However, I am not unwilling to accept someones love indulgence to get me out of
this rut.

Break my bones, but don't break my heart. Please.

07-21-09: Lead Me To The Promise Land

Where is home? What is home? I feel parts of myself and my spirit
reside in at least two parts of this great country I live in. While my
heart lies in my birth city of Saginaw, MI, there is a lack of
opportunity/jobs. I know I personally have the resilience to make it
anywhere doing almost anything, but a place like Orlando, FL, I have
more of a chance of financial stability. I have eat friends in
Florida, but my closest friends are here or scattered acrossed the
States. I don't think I'll ever be able to let go of this part of my
life fully. I know many leave and don't even care to look back at what
our hometown has become. I still have a sense of loyalty to my
hometown and a feeling I am partly responsible to help bring it back
to life. Maybe someday.

In the meantime I'll continue to call the skies my highway home. As I
wait for my flight to depart the gorgeous Michigan summer day, I
reluctantly anticipate my return to horrid Florida summer humidity and
rain but look forward to furthering my journey of attaining my goal
one step at a time.

07-09-09: Life In Perspective. Operation DO SOMETHING

In light of the loss of life that seems to be brought to everyones attention through the loss of many celebrities this year, highly noting the inspirational Pop icon Michael Jackson as well as the loss of a friend I know Kim Gerrish Norman, I have put a list of things to do in my head here and there in the past week of what I want to get done before I turn 28 in November. Life is obviously short, and for others, could surely be deemed shorter than expected. Life is fragile, but at the same time, if you don't take risks, do you really live life?

My mother always gets on my case for the recklessness I have with my body. I understand I am getting older and I don't heal as fast. I also know the repercussions of the hobbies I have. I don't pollute my body with chemicals or alter my mindset with narcotics or even herbal drugs. Just something I have no interest in. I have however the interests to "conquer" the land, sky, and sea. Perhaps if I ever have enough money, outer space as well.

So again in discovery of my newfound passion for life, I am using my blog to plot out my plans for the next months.

-Sky Diving
-Visit Florida Keys
-Apply to Sea World/Busch Gardens/Discovery Cove
-Visit NYC, Seattle, and LA
-Snowboard in Colorado and visit family
-Find the Love of my life
-Plan my next city to live in if working with animals is not in my story
-Perhaps get a French Bulldog
-Be able to compete at least once in a JiuJitsu Tournament
-Sell off/Give away a ton of my stuff - Garage Sale

So far thats what I have come up with. I know I can do more. Lots of time though it does fly by.

Ill be in Saginaw, MI in a week to visit home and say goodbye to another friend of mine due to death. Lots of time to think and plan my plot my screenplay for my life in the next 5 months.

Call it vain, but yes I have a picture with me in the middle of a
breakdown. Thanks for the last half of Forrest Gump to be the enabler
of my uncontrollable and uncomfortable contortions of my face as my

of my nasal passages. Poor Forrest lost his Jenny. I've realized how

Wow, I'm successful and married and have kids and live on an island and have my own personal arcade full of all the favorites I learned to love growing up and I can get away with run-on sentences that still have proper punctuation and grammar other than keeping thoughts to their own sentences and I have mega buckos and not a care in the world.

Oh that must be the b-side rarities of the bonus section for the DVD of my life.

If only it was that easy in life. I need a change of pace though. The night life is getting to me (already has gotten to me).

I want to live here.

And watch this every night.

I have been there before. While its not Hawaii, its still paradise.

I just had one of the best dreams of my life. I was so happy. I just know I was with close friends causing trouble for a few days. I can't remember smiling more in my life than in that dream. Unfortunately, it's only the details at the end of the dream that I can remember. My Ex comes to where I am at, says, "you can leave now." She has her new boyfriend with her and its a scene out of some crazy music video or a surreal dream romantic comedy the protagonist visions of the antagonist trying to make me jealous. She and her friends are dressed in all white with hair tied back, he is in a black suit, and all the while they cheek to cheek making obnoxious kissing faces as german techno is playing in the background.

My heavenly dream turned into a hellish nightmare.

I can't sleep. I'm now going to be a mega nerd and wait in line at the Florida Mall for the new iPhone.

Finally, after waiting for over a year or more, the time I have invested in holding off from purchasing the iPhone will pay off by waiting to obtain one this glorious day!

I have one!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!! Poor Matt got turned down for whatever reason. He waited there even longer than me and had to get sent to an Apple store. What a build up for a let down. So close yet so far. I was already preparing my poor weary body for the bad news. But fortunately for me, I am a happy consumer. The pain in my knees from standing for 18 hours doesn't even matter anymore.

Now, must get this phone on so I can receive no calls from all my millions "friends." Haha.

What an awesome movie. I just stepped back into my minute hut I call a home. In comparison to the King of all Kahn's my place is but a footprint in the largest of all kingdoms.

I had to write about this movie as soon I got into my door. I sit here on the curb outside my house watching the lower class families light the skies yet again with their discounted fireworks all the while in the background, the night sky is dancing with God's own fireworks. Heat lightning, distant thunder, booms, bangs, whistles, cheers, and laughter accompany the chiming whistling of the orchestra of crickets. While the immediate imagery of my current surroundings are uncommonly serene and calming, all I can think about is the amazing cinematography from the film I just had the wonderful opportunity to view.

Inspiring, tragic, heart-warming, violent, dramatic, intense, and calm, this scholarly depiction of the life of Genghis Kahn is well recommended. I encourage you to view "Mongol" while it is in the theaters. You will not be disappointed, unless you are the typical life loser that has to complain and find the worst in everything. :)

Yes I try to keep care of my skin. I work in a very harsh environment. An environment with a complete disregard for the possibility for lung cancer clogged poors. How I just put those two polar opposite ailments next to each other in the same sentence is rather amusing to me.

If there were any source of inspiration and motivation from a young ball of energy, I would say that my friend Nato, whom I have not seen in a couple years, is that amazing person that could inspire anyone to do anything.

I plan on looking up her blog on the reg to see the great leaps and bounds she makes through the endeavors she undertakes. Her photos are amazing. She has a great eye for framing out the most amazing shots for such a small amount of experience. I can't wait to read about your stories Nato. You always had great ones from the insane life you live that most people dream about. I hope to have an iChat again soon and sing Corey Harts's, "Sunglasses at Night" to each other once again.

I still think you and Cancer Chris could be brother and sister.

07-05-08: Blaze of Glory

Yes, I did it. I partook in childish antics and it surely did bring out the worst/best in me. Party hoping from one hip kats hip pad to the next. Jumping from a particular scenesters' association annual July 4th business bbq party to another, I got to scope out the latest in ridiculous outfits and "unisex" apparel. From budweiser tank tops, guys in tie dyed onesies, girls in cut off guys shorts, guys in cut off girls shorts, every color t-shirt other than black, shirts and sweaters once thought uncool and stored away in your child hood memories trunk, thought to have been boxed up for the rest of eternity now unveiled once again 20 years later proving that now a days, you can wear a sweatshirt so small it fits like a t-shirt. On that "t-shirt" it is also super cool to have those super amazing uber cool yet lame (or should it be worded the other way around) graphic prints of coyotes and florida tourists landmarks from the 80's. 70's mustaches, fingerless racing gloves, body oder deodorant (or is that just sweat?), silly hats, and your mothers slippers are all the pinnacle of cool this month. Apparently it is a fashion faux pas to not look like a burned out oompa loopma.

Chihuahuas are no longer "hot." Wiener dogs and bull dogs, yorkies and mutts, all go well with those cut off shorts that accentuate your butt. Guys and girls please be aware of this fashion accessory. Mind you however, a slobbering English Bulldog will definitely ruin those retro "pee-wee" model nikes you paid 200 dollars for on ebay. Dog spit and suede are not a good mixture. However, drunk girls in gold metallic bathing suits that blind you in the sun sitting on the edge of inflatable pools are a great source of comical entertainment! It is also a great way to water or rather flood your lawn and soak any poor souls oversized pleather purse that may have made the mistake of leaving it on the patio.

Bikes are the only source of transportation amongst this new found people. From colonial town to the depths of primrose ct we find ourselves in the midst of a battle field. While we may have approach the enemy during their RNR, they were quick to drop their glow in the dark frisbees and nerf balls. With a few swigs off the Shipyard brewing Van's install beer taps, the fight ensued. Bottle Rockets, firecrackers, and more bottle rockets were the main choice of arsenal. Thanks to my friend Anthony supplying me at the front of the lines, I was able to wreak havoc amongst my peers busy drinking their beers. Double-crossing my arms supplier made for great laughs. A particularly place bottle rocket in his satchel draped over his shoulders filled with armaments definitely created a spectacular sight of fear which lead to the hardest laughs I have had in quite some time. Anthony definitely resembled doing an ancient african tribal rain dance before he finally ditched the bag. Lit Bottle Rockets placed in the pockets of tipsy and unknowing victims was also a tactic used by us mischief makers. There were however causulaties of war. One being my t-shirt. Friendly fire is to blame. My own to be exact. A discharged lit wick blown back from the rockets blast propelled its way onto my right lat and began to burn my shirt and thus my skin leaving my enemies laughing hysterically at my misfortune. Lucky us idiots, no one lost a finger or an eye.

The night ended off with a bang of conversations. Fueled by my lack of a better choice of words, the use of particular racist expressions set off a few PC white people. Thus led to the thesis of the night; Rap of today is negatively influencing the majority of people through glorifying ignorance. While I was able to have a discussion which led to an equally agreed upon conversation with my black friend, my white peers still could not see where I was coming from. I blame it on the levels of intoxication, obviously not on my part. However, people realized that I truly am not as stupid as I come across. Respect was gained by many all while Ranyell was spitting beer on a girl and peeing on her in the kiddie pool. A battle of American Minority Gladiators jousting with expelled liquids slamming each other down into the kiddie pool full of pee water splashed us innocent bystanders. We were not pleased, but the fight card for the night was definitely worth being in Shamu's splash zone.

It was a gloomy day at first, but after the rain finally moved on, the heavens opened up with a beautiful sunset, and the skies lit up dancing in every direction. Mischief, smiles, fireworks, good conversation, and pleasant evening rides were a good end to the day. A boy surely can get quite exhausted from having fun. I suppose I could leave the house more often if times like these were guaranteed.

Independence day already? 7 months into 2008 already? Time really does fly after 21. Glad I never drank any of those days away to forget even more of this short and fast paced effort we call life. I can't drive 55. That's fine. I bought a scooter and only drive 40. Slow down life. It's flying by. I don't mind not taking the highways. I'll take the scenic route and enjoy the little things that were put on this Earth say like maybe a lake with large swooping white cranes, jumping fish catching one of many smalls meals throughout the evening, and maybe even a few squirrels burying nuts they will never remember hiding, along with a small little thing called a Sunset.

Anyways, back on track. Independence. What does that really mean? I am off on my own. Living. Yet I am still feeling far from Independent. I have bills and debts to pay. Why couldn't the government and creditors be independent from me. Why do they need my money? Why can't I make certain decisions without being afraid the powers that be will be at my door a knock knockin like the big bad wolf. I'm no little pig and I don't want to let you in. I just want my freedom. My independence. Big Brother who? I'm a big brother. My little brother's name is Phil. Why would I want a big brother that is always spying on me. Are you gay, big brother? Incest is morally wrong anyways. I don't even have any keyholes you could use as a peephole so how do you even watch me undress or run redlights or send my friends e-mails with racist remarks or words like bomb-dida-bomd-di-bomb-bomb? Since when are we supposed to be afraid of the government? For the People, By the People. I guess it could be worse... which I am sure it will be with this two party dictatorship.

Really, for some reason, and yes on another note, July is the time I miss home the most. Something about being home with the people I love during the fireworks. It's a day most problems are completely forgotten. Staring off into the night sky watching it dance with all the colors of the rainbow is quite mesmerizing. Who knew that the comparable sound of gun shots, motor shots, and bomb blasts could be so calming? "I love the smell of fresh napalm in the morning."

Lady In Red. Proud to be an American. Staple songs for the fireworks in Saginaw. For such a doo doo town, it really does hold its place in my heart. Why can't you have more opportunities Michigan? I'd live in you again in a heartbeat if you did.

Independence Day. I don't know what it means to you. But it should mean something. I just watched Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai from 1954. An oppressed farming village desperate, scared, and poor, wanting nothing but to be safe and free. Putting themselves out there in the face of humility just to be safe from warring bandits, they humbly approach wandering samurai over and over again with the only offer of 3 meals a day pay, only to be denied based on the idea of greed. Money makes the world go round. Finally, they found Seven Saints By the Sword that took up their offer. How unfortunate that in today's world independence means nothing more than selfishness. What can we do from an independent stand point to help others on our own accord?
